The all-star Jersey band Dinosaur Stampede will release their sophomore LP, “Big Sigh Country,” on Nov. 1 at Randy Now’s Mancave in Hightstown.
The track “Lie Fight (The Truth)” is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “Lie Fight (The Truth)” can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 24 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com. If you miss it, you can tune in any time in the archives at The Penguin, Mixcloud and RadioJersey.net.
Dinosaur Stampede are Packy Thompson (…but ugly), rhythm guitar and vocals; Keith Hartel (True Love, Motel Shootout, Pleased Youth), lead guitar, vocals and keyboards; legendary Jersey one-man band Keith Kenny, lead Guitar and vocals; Matt Kohut (Cold Soil Drifters, Ween, Chris Harford), bass, and Sim Cain (Rollins Band, Ween, Gone), drums.
Produced by Sim and Keith Kenny in the latter’s Hightstown studio, the eight-song “Big Sigh Country” follows the 2019 self-titled debut.
The band will play the new album in its entirety on Nov. 1.
