originally published: 10/20/2025

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Concert Hall at Drew University presents Clint Holmes in Concert: Let's Go! Up on the Roof on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 7:30pm. In this show, one of the greatest voices of our generation re-imagines the greatest hits of the most beloved songwriters of the last 60 years.

From Carole King and James Taylor to Burt Bacharach and Brian Wilson with a splash of Lennon & McCartney, this show is filled with songs that have underscored iconic movie scenes and television commercials and most importantly, have become the soundtrack of our lives.

If you remember songs like “Save the Last Dance for Me,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Shower the People,” “Fire and Rain,” “Eleanor Rigby” and, of course, “Up on the Roof,” this show will take you on a journey through the most beautiful melodies and lyrics of all time.

Tickets range from $39-$49 and are available for purchase online. The Concert Hall at Drew University is located at 36 Madison Avenue in Madison, New Jersey.

As the strains of “My name is Michael, I’ve got a nickel…” poured out of every radio in America, Clint Holmes set off on a path to establishing himself as one of the most dynamic interpreters of song ever to grace a stage. Following the staggering success of his chart-topping hit record, “Playground in My Mind,” Clint was determined to not rest on his laurels or simply ride the wave of his gold-record stardom.

Clint spent much of the last 25 years as a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip, earning him several “Best of” awards, including “Best Male Vocalist” five years in a row in a town with no shortage of stiff competition for the title. His triumphs around the country range from the grand stages of Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl to the chic corners of Cafe Carlyle and Birdland. Over his storied career, Clint has performed for 6 U.S. Presidents (and most of them, more than once.) In addition, he was Joan Rivers’ sidekick on her late night talk show, had his own Emmy-Award winning show (New York at Night) and served as music correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. More recently, his album, Rendezvous, was nominated for two Grammy Awards.

Now, he takes his passion for the greatest songwriters of the 60s and 70s on the road and onto the stages of America’s finest concert halls and showrooms. Join Clint and his star-studded band for a musical experience you’ll never forget.

The concert is presents by Gene DiNapoli Presents.
