(BLAIRSTOWN, NJ) -- Roy's Hall presents singer-songwriter Crystal Bowersox on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 8:00pm. Known for her soul-stirring music that blossomed from chaos into peace, Crystal’s performance is more than a concert—it’s a voyage through the heartstrings of life.
Originally from northwest Ohio, Crystal currently lives in Nashville, TN, USA. Crystal’s love for music developed at an early age, stemming from the need to find peace in a chaotic world. For her, music has always been the most effective form of catharsis.
Crystal moved to Chicago, IL at 17 years old, where she spent her days performing underground on subway platforms between working odd jobs. While in Chicago, she broadened her musical horizons and shared her talents in a variety of venues, ultimately auditioning for the ninth season of American Idol. She has used her talents to benefit several causes close to her heart and has become an inspiration for people living with Type 1 Diabetes.
Tickets are $29 and available for purchase online. Roy's Hall is located at 30 Main Street in Blairstown, New Jersey.
Her mission is to bring a positive message and healing to the world.
Crystal draws upon her various influences to make the kind of music that resonates with her spirit. It is both tender and tough, rough yet polished, and encompasses many genres without falling neatly into only one.
Roy's Hall is operated by Blairstown Live-Arts, Inc., a NJ (501(c)(3) non-profit cultural institution with the goal of promoting a broad appreciation of the interplay between culture and artistic expression. It does this by acting as a forum for artists who best exemplify world traditions, reflect contemporary trends and explore artistic frontiers, and by nurturing the artistic and cultural life of its own community in and around the Skylands region of New Jersey.
Toward that end, they nurture the work of emerging artists and celebrate the achievements of acknowledged masters. They educate and engage audiences as active participants in the artistic process. They work to build strong links between disparate elements inside and outside the “arts community” and to remove barriers, both perceived and real, which currently prevent many within their greater community from participating. They seek to generate support for multi-cultural expression and the promotion of active arts for all people.
