
(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Adults curious about breaking into—or leveling up within—the film, television, commercial and voice-over worlds can get practical answers and fresh contacts on Tuesday, August 13, 2025 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Playhouse 22 in East Brunswick. The evening pairs a rapid-fire Expert Q&A with an informal mixer hosted by NextGen Acting founder Dennis Connors and Talent Agent Traci Luthy. Admission is free.
* Expert Q&A (6:00pm – 6:45pm) – Dennis and Traci tackle live questions on auditions, networking, and the expanding New Jersey production scene - joined by invited voices from the NJ Film Industry.
* Networking Mixer (6:45pm – 7:30pm) – Attendees swap stories advice, and business cards, while meeting valuable contacts.

Traci Luthy is a New York/New Jersey talent agent whose 20-year career spans national commercials, indie features, and streaming series. As founder of Bonafide and Emerging Artists, she champions diverse, authentic performers and guides clients through every stage of career development, from first bookings to series regulars.
Founded in 2022 by actor-entrepreneur Dennis Connors, NextGen Acting delivers cutting-edge acting, improv, and voice-over training for youth and adults across Central New Jersey. Connors, known for his TV, film, and voice-over credits, leads programs that blend artistic rigor with a nurturing, community-driven ethos, empowering students to excel on stage, on camera, and in life.
Playhouse 22 is East Brunswick's Community Theater troupe. With more than 60 years of providing theater to residents of Central Jersey, Playhouse 22 has staged hundreds of live performances ranging from “Camelot”, “1776”, and “The Drowsy Chaperone” to plays like “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” and “Neil Simon’s Rumors”.
