(GARWOOD, NJ) -- On the heels of two electric singles (Blondie's "Dreaming" and lust-filled pop punk anthem "Montclair") Brea Fournier & the Dream Ballet embarks on their third national tour––with new and returning cities across the Midwest and East Coast. Locally the band will be at Crossroads in Garwood on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The bill includes Never the Name, Bella and Dave, Ela Martini, and Two Moons Away.
"This so-called ‘Manic Pixie Dream Tour’ will be our last to primarily feature songs from our debut album before we hone in on some new material, so it’s bittersweet," says lead singer Fournier. "We’re calling on everyone who’s ever been called a manic pixie dream girl to come out and rock with us, and hopefully find some catharsis in such a truly diabolical time in history to be a woman or marginalized person. Our shows are all about showing up rebelliously authentic, and we can’t wait to see you!"
Tickets are $16.18 and available for purchase online. Doors are at 5:30pm, showtime is 6:30pm. Crossroads is located at 78 North Avenue in Garwood, New Jersey.
Hailing from New York City, Brea Fournier & the Dream Ballet is an eclectic pop-rock/punk band. Spearheaded by Brea Fournier, an exciting new voice in the feminist rock scene, the band comprises guitarist Ben Shanblatt, drummer Sophia Bondi, and bassist Noah Rosner. Making waves with their defiant mix of pop, rock, and eighties influences, their sound has been described as "Joan Jett attitude meets Joni Mitchell lyricism."
The group has turned heads with their dynamic live shows, gracing stages across the US from Seattle to Salt Lake City and sharing bills with fellow contemporaries Dog Party. Making their debut release in 2023 with ‘Petty Stuff’, the group released their debut album, ‘Manic Pixie Dream Girl!’ the following year.
Fournier is a graduate of the Clive Davis Institute where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Recorded Music. With a background in musical theatre and classical voice and a passion for feminist prose, Fournier and the Dream Ballet look forward to further to cementing their reputation as fast-rising, underground rock talents.
