
(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association presents A Salute to the Silver Screen on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Great Auditorium. Join Maestro Jason Tramm and the MidAtlantic Philharmonic for a spectacular concert celebrating iconic film scores—from the epic drama of Ben Hur to the magic of Star Wars—all in the breathtaking acoustics of the Great Auditorium.
The MidAtlantic Philharmonic was founded in 2012 by Dr. Jason Tramm, frequently performing works spanning musical genres. They have performed in 5 states, including illustrious venues like Carnegie Hall and NJPAC.
Highlights of the concert include orchestral selections from Casablanca, The Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, West Side Story, Ben Hur, Mission impossible, James Bond, and Star Wars.
The performance takes place on Saturday, July 26 at 7:00pm in the Great Auditorium. Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children and are available for purchase online.
Additional highlights of the Ocean Grove 2025 Concert Series include the Summer Stars Orchestral Finale on July 31 at 7:30pm, Handel’s Messiah Spectacular on August 2 at 7:00pm, and their Sacred Masterworks Concert on August 24 at 7:00pm – featuring Arthur Honegger’s majestic oratorio, King David.
Maestro Dr. Jason Tramm has been hailed as a “conductor to watch” by Symphony Magazine, “filled with Italianate passion” by the Huffington Post, and an “orchestra Pied Piper” by the New York Concert Review. Maestro Tramm’s work in the operatic, symphonic, and choral realms has received critical acclaim throughout the United States and abroad.
Tramm holds the following appointments: Executive Director, Light Opera of New Jersey, the Director of Music Ministries, Ocean Grove Great Auditorium, Artistic Director, MidAtlantic Artistic Productions, Music Director of both the Taghkanic Chorale and Putnam Chorale. Dr. Tramm serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Choral Activities at Seton Hall University, where he conducts the University Chorus, Chamber Choir, and Orchestra. As a guest conductor, he has led symphonic and operatic performances in Italy, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic throughout the United States.
