REVIEW: “The Mallard” at Premiere Stages
 

Nine years ago, Premiere Stages introduced me to the playwright Vincent Delaney with a production of Las Cruces. I thought he had a masterful ability to pull a topic right out of the day's headlines and place it into a story that showed the affect it had on real lives - turning the stories from mere statistics into something more. After seeing his latest work at Premiere Stages, I am fully convinced of his ability.

 



Eagle Theatre Hit By SUV, Seeks Donations For Repairs
 

(HAMMONTON, NJ) -- On Friday, July 18, 2025 at around 11:20pm, an SUV backed into and severely damaged the side doors of the Eagle Theatre while leaving a nearby parking spot.

Roxey Ballet to Premiere NJ Ballad at Dancing on the Green in Honor of America's upcoming 250th Birthday
 

(HIGH BRIDGE, NJ) -- Roxey Ballet proudly announces the premiere of NJ Ballad, a moving new dance work celebrating the heart and history of the Garden State, to be presented at this year's Dancing on the Green on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the scenic High Bridge Grounds for Art. State Arts Council Approves Over $29 Million in Grants, Welcomes New Board Member
 

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey State Council on the Arts awarded more than $29 million in grants to support nearly 1,000 arts organizations, projects, and artists throughout the state. The grants were approved on July 22, 2025 at the Council's 59th Annual Meeting in Trenton, which featured a special performance by Hadassah Broughton, the 2025 NJ Poetry Out Loud State Champion.

The Drew Forum at MPAC presents Mitt Romney
 

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Drew University has announced that Mitt Romney, former Senator and Republican nominee for President, will be the first speaker in the three-part 2025-2026 Drew Forum series at Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC). The event will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 7:30pm.

(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) is excited to announce six new shows for this season. In September, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo visit bergenPAC to release their book My Grandma and Grandpa Rock and there will be a performance by STYX later a few weeks later; November includes performances by Morris Day & The Time, The Sugarhill Gang, and Jay Leno; and December now includes a performance by Mark Feinstein.
