(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is thrilled to unveil its Fall 2025 Performing Arts Academy (PAA) class schedule, featuring the largest and most diverse lineup of offerings ever. In addition to its ever-popular Musical Theatre and Acting & Improv classes, this season introduces an exciting slate of brand-new classes designed to inspire, educate, and ignite a lifelong love of the arts.
Classes begin the week of September 15 and run through November 6, with sessions available for students in grades K–12. New this fall are Singing for the Stage, Theatrical Design, Communicate with Confidence, Playwriting, Intro to Theatre, and Storybook Theatre, each led by an experienced and passionate teaching artist.
“This fall, we’re opening more doors for students to discover where they belong in the world of theatre,” said Chris Strangfeld, Algonquin’s Education Director. “Whether your child wants to belt out a show tune, design a set, craft a monologue, or find their voice on stage—there’s a class here for them. We’re especially excited to welcome new teaching artists and introduce new curriculum that makes theatre education more accessible, dynamic, and fun than ever before.”
Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks, with prices ranging from $140–$150 per course. Space is limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged.

The Performing Arts Academy (PAA) at Algonquin Arts Theatre offers school-age students a fun and enriching opportunity to learn and practice performing arts skills in a studio setting with professional teaching artists. Classes, which are based on a foundation of acting, singing, dancing, and improvisation, provide students with valuable interdisciplinary and social skills that benefit them both on and off the stage.

ALGONQUIN ARTS THEATRE (AAT) is a 501c(3) non-profit center for performing arts, providing cultural enrichment and arts education for residents and visitors of Central New Jersey and the Jersey Shore through high quality performances and programs in theatre, music, dance and film.
Located in Manasquan, N.J., AAT is an integral part of the Shore region, offering broad access to arts experiences across multiple disciplines.
