(MADISON, NJ) -- The Acting Apprenticeship Company at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Love's Labour's Lost on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 7:30pm in the K.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre. Fall under the spell of Shakespeare's sparkling comedy of romance, wit, and unexpected desire.

When four young nobles swear off love in pursuit of scholarship, their resolve is quickly tested by the arrival of a princess and her companions. Filled with clever wordplay, mistaken intentions, and some of Shakespeare’s most delightful characters, this charming abridged production is performed by The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Acting Apprentice Company, an ensemble of early-career artists from across the country.

As a Teaching Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is proud to train and mentor the next generation of classical theatre artists. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy one of Shakespeare’s most entertaining comedies while experiencing these young performers at the start of their professional journeys.

Tickets are $10 and available for purchase online. The theater is located at 36 Madison Avenue in Madison, New Jersey.

The Creative Team includes Director Isaac Hickox-Young, Costume Designer Anastasia Durrell, Lighting Designer Kevin Gartley, Sound Designer Steven Beckel, and Dramaturg Henry Nuñez.
