Wine Down Summer to Take Place at Red Bank Battlefield Park

originally published: 07/14/2025

(NATIONAL PARK, NJ) -- Wine Down Summer Finds a Stunning New Home at Red Bank Battlefield Park, National Park, New Jersey. After 11 incredible years of hosting Wine Down Summer at RiverWinds in West Deptford, the event is entering an exciting new chapter. This year the historic Red Bank Battlefield Park, will play host to Wine Down Summer on August 23-24, 2025 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm each day.

While RiverWinds has been a wonderful home to this event for over a decade, the event has grown beyond what that space can offer; with Red Bank Battlefield Park offering everything needed and more! Located on the banks of the scenic Delaware River, Red Bank Battlefield Park is a South Jersey gem. With its wide-open lawns, beautiful landscape, and expansive views of the Philadelphia skyline, it offers the perfect backdrop for an outdoor summer wine festival.

Whether you're sipping your favorite wine, dancing to live music, or simply taking in the views, this setting makes Wine Down Summer feel like a true getaway. The heart of this festival is, of course, New Jersey’s award-winning wineries. Guests 21 and older can sample a wide variety of locally produced wines, from crisp whites and bold reds to fruity blends and seasonal favorites. With your paid admission, you'll receive a souvenir wine glass to sample and you're encouraged to purchase bottles to take home—or better yet, enjoy them right there at the park with friends and family.

Beyond the wine, there's so much more to enjoy. A diverse lineup of live music will play throughout the weekend, bringing energy to every corner of the event. A curated selection of food trucks will be serving everything from gourmet bites to sweet treats, ensuring no one leaves hungry. Local artisan crafters to browse and shop from offering handmade goods, home décor, jewelry, and more. One of the best parts you ask? Non-Sampling patrons and guests under 21 can attend for FREE. Whether you're coming with family, a group of friends, or a partner who doesn’t drink, there’s no cost to soak in the sights, sounds, and scenery. Wine Down Summer is meant to be enjoyed by everyone.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their picnic gear; tables, chairs, blankets, even tents as there is plenty of space to set-up and enjoy the day. So, let the wine flow, music soar, and festivities ignite joy as we bid adieu to the season at one of the most beautiful venues in New Jersey.
