(BURLINGTON, NJ) -- On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the City of Burlington, Mayor Barry Conaway, and Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts' co-artistic directors, Barbara Fisher and Patty Howard will welcome Aria Nouveau. This is a classical crossover performance featuring vocalists Laura Auer (soprano) and John Riesen (tenor). Showtime is 11:30am.
Artists like Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, and Andrea Bocelli pioneered the “classical crossover” genre, where elements of pop and opera seamlessly blend into a lush landscape of soaring vocals, rich orchestrations, and unbridled emotion. Aria Nouveau elevates the genre to new heights, combining the world-class talents of soprano Laura Auer (Top-10 Billboard-charting album series, syndicated music videos on VH1/Lifestyle Network, multiple symphony appearances) and tenor John Riesen (“America’s Got Talent” finalist, Lincoln Center soloist, 4+ million Spotify streams) in a thrilling duo concert event.
Aria Nouveau transports audiences on a journey through crossover hits ("The Prayer,” "Amigos Para Siempre"), Broadway blockbusters ("Music of the Night" - Phantom of the Opera, "Bring Him Home" - Les Misérables), mainstream opera favorites (“Nessun Dorma” - Turandot, "Quando me'n vo'" - La Bohème) and popular music made famous by legendary voices like Nat King Cole, Celine Dion, and Tony Bennett in an elegant and artful afternoon perfect for music lovers of all ages.
The concert will be preceded by a meet and greet continental brunch with mimosas included in the ticket price. Tickets are $35 for general seating and are available for purchase online. Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts is located at 432 High Street in Burlington, New Jersey.
