OCC Repertory Theatre Company presents "A Broadway Tour of America"

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company will present "A Broadway Tour of America" July 10-13 and July 19-20, 2025 in the Black Box Theatre at the Grunin Center for the Arts. The show takes audiences on an unforgettable cross-country adventure, celebrating America's cultural landmarks through the magic of musical theater.

Featuring iconic songs from Broadway’s most beloved musicals, this energetic and dynamic production showcases a variety of styles, from intimate ballads to the biggest, show-stopping numbers from the Great White Way. Don’t miss your chance to experience Broadway’s greatest hits on a coast-to-coast musical journey like no other!

Performances take place Thursday, July 10 at 7:30pm; Friday, July 11 at 7:30pm; Saturday, July 12 at 2:00pm & 7:30pm; Sunday, July 13 at 2:00pm; Saturday, July 19 at 2:00pm & 7:30pm; and Sunday, July 20 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $26 for adults, $24 for seniors and $22 for students. Tickets are available for purchase online or by calling the Grunin Center Box Office at 732-255-0500.

The cast includes: Angel Berrios, Eric Bras, Marleen Byrd, Taylor Conner, Glen Cory, Alejandro Oquendo, Aidan Panno, Ava Papageorgiou, Brielle Roche, Michelina Roche, Teagan Ruiz, and Rosa Spalliero. 

Under the direction of Performing Arts Program Chair Paul Chalakani, the mission of the OCC Repertory Theater Company is to create opportunities for college and community participation in various rich and diverse theatrical experiences. The Company seeks to engage, entertain, inspire, and educate to enhance the cultural life of Ocean County College and the surrounding communities.

The OCC/REP provides OCC students, faculty, staff, and residents of neighboring communities the opportunity to attend and/or participate in quality performances of theatrical works – musicals and plays, classical and modern, traditional and experimental, through a well-balanced theatrical season. Additionally, the OCC/REP provides an environment for students of our performing arts program to apply what they are learning in a collaborative and encouraging format. The OCC/REP celebrates the power of the theatre to illuminate and mirror the human experience.

Players Guild of Leonia to Hold Auditions for "Where The Time Goes"

"RIFT" Returns To Luna For Two Nights Only Before International Debut At Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage's commissioned World Premiere play RIFT is headed to the Edinburgh Fringe for a four-week run at Traverse Theatre this August. On July 18-19, 2025 at 8:00pm each night, the powerful and timely new play returns to Luna for two benefit performances to support the company's travel to Scotland.

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Pleasant Valley Productions (PVP) is presenting Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's iconic rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar at the Oscar Schindler Performing Arts Center (OSPAC). The production runs July 11-12 and July 17-19, 2025. This groundbreaking musical, which revolutionized the world of theatre, tells the story of the final week of Jesus' life through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company presents Jimmy Buffett's Escape to Margaritaville from Thursday, July 10 through Sunday, July 20 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center. Featuring a book by Greg Garcia and Mike O'Malley and music and lyrics by Jimmy Buffett, this play combines tropical vibes and feel-good humor with a collection of the singer-songwriter’s most beloved hits.
