(LITTLE FALLS, NJ) -- /PRNewswire/ -- The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center in Little Falls will host a special tribute event, Legends Remembered Live: A Tribute to Yogi Berra, on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 2:00pm, honoring the life, legacy, and faith of one of baseball's most beloved figures.

Presented in proud partnership with Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark, this exclusive event will feature a newly re-edited short documentary chronicling the Hall of Famer's career, Catholic faith, and enduring impact on the game and his family.

The film features rare archival footage and personal insights from Larry Berra, Yogi's eldest son, and Father Gabriel Costa, a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark. Costa is a mathematics professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the creator of the first college-level Sabermetrics course.

The documentary was filmed on location at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Yogi Berra's final resting place, and offers a touching exploration of #8's journey both on and off the field.

Admission: $15 – Adults; $10 – Children under 18 / Seniors; Free – Veterans and Montclair State students. Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center is located at 8 Yogi Berra Drive, Little Falls, NJ (Montclair State University campus). Enter your name and email here to RSVP. Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a live Q&A panel featuring Larry Berra and Father Costa, moderated by the film's director and co-producer, Max Martinez-Almenas (Catholic Cemeteries). Co-producer and editor Enrico Bolognino (EB Media) will also be present.

This new documentary features rare photos, archival footage and a heartfelt conversation between Larry Berra, Yogi’s eldest son, and Father Gabriel Costa, an Archdiocese of Newark priest and Sabermetrics pioneer from West Point. Filmed at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Yogi’s final resting place, this powerful film explores #8’s iconic career, personal faith and lasting impact on the game and his family.

The ministry of Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark exists to meet the needs of individuals and families before, at the time of death and burial, and throughout bereavement. By setting aside a holy place for burial, they provide a fitting environment for full liturgical celebrations. Just as in life, they believe that in death the human body deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. They also foster a type of remembering that is enlightened by faith and sees death as a bridge to the communion of saints. Their bonds with the believing are not broken by death.
