(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- This summer in Haddon Township, there's something for everyone as the town comes alive with a packed schedule of free exciting events for both residents and visitors alike!

"As we embrace the long-awaited summer days, I invite everyone to join us for our fantastic variety of events taking place here in Haddon Township,” said Haddon Township Mayor Randall Teague. “Come celebrate the season, enjoy the vibrant family-friendly community spirit, and make lasting memories with friends and neighbors. May 29 | Haddon Square Summer Market. Join them at the Makers Market in Haddon Square, Haddon Twp., featuring over 30 local artisans offering handmade art, jewelry, accessories, home goods, clothing, beauty products, and gourmet items, all inspired by the vibrant local community. Enjoy live music, a beer garden, and a family- and dog-friendly atmosphere just a short walk from the Westmont PATCO Speedline. Kick off your weekend with shopping, dining, and exploring Haddon Twp.! 

June 5-6 | HT PRIDE 2025. Returning with the empowering theme "Choose Joy," HT Pride 2025 celebrates community strength, love, and resilience. Join them in Haddon Township on June 5th for the parade and June 6th for Community Night at Haddon Square as they honor LGBTQIA+ voices, historical pioneers, and foster inclusion through marches, dancing, learning, and connection. This event is a powerful declaration of joy and unity, inviting everyone to participate in a vibrant celebration of advocacy, love, and community.

June 20 | 8th Annual Summer Solstice Music Festival. Kicking off the season is the 8th Annual Summer Solstice Music Festival on Friday, June 20th from 4:00pm-10:00pm on Haddon Avenue between Strawbridge Avenue & Cooper Street. Celebrate the start of summer with live music, delicious food trucks, captivating strolling entertainment, refreshing beer gardens, a fun-filled kids zone, and much more for the whole family to enjoy. This free event is open to the public and easily accessible, located conveniently within blocks of the Westmont PATCO Speedline.

July 4 | Independence Day Parade. Next up, spend Independence Day at the annual Haddon Township parade on July 4th! Parade registration begins at 10:30am at the Municipal Building located at 135 Haddon Ave. Entries include bands, floats, fire trucks, pets and patriotic bikes with top prizes awarded in each category. The parade begins at 11:30am, traveling down Haddon Ave. to Crystal Lake Ave., ending at the Crystal Lake Pool Complex where the first 300 attendees get free hot dogs! All Haddon Township residents and their guests can enjoy free admission to the pool until 6:00pm.

August 23 | Summer of Love Music Fest. Groove into the end of summer at Haddon Twp.'s Summer of Love Music Fest! Join them on August 23rd from 2:00pm to 10:00pm on Haddon Ave. for a nostalgic journey through the 60s, 70s, and 80s with live music from AM Radio, Dancin’ Machine, and The Priceless Band. Enjoy a beer garden, food trucks, artisan vendors, a kid zone, fun contests like hula hoop and trivia, and a Glow Party at 9:00pm. This free event promises a night of music and memories, with a rain date of August 24th.

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation invites the public to participate in the special 'Giant Puppets Workshop Series' led by artists from the internationally acclaimed Processional Arts. The puppets created in the workshop series from August 14 through August 19, 2026 will be featured in a giant puppet parade marching down Main Street in Hackensack during Illumination 250, an all-day arts festival taking place on October 3rd to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
