originally published: 05/07/2025

(PISCATAWAY, NJ) -- The 52nd Annual St. George Greek Festival takes place May 15-18, 2025. This Central Jersey tradition kicks-off New Jersey's "Greek Festival Season" lasting from May until October at Greek churches throughout the State. St. George, Piscataway Festival is synonymous with "philotimo" the Greek ideal of welcoming everyone to explore Greek culture through homemade food, good music, traditional dancing and cultural tours.

Attracting upwards of 15,000 patrons annually to celebrate all things Greek, the 52nd Annual Festival will not disappoint! Hours of Operation are: Thursday, May 15th from 4:00pm – 9:00pm; Friday, May 16th, from 12 noon – 11:00pm; Saturday, May 17th,  12 noon to midnight, and Sunday, May 18th, from 12 noon – 8:00pm. All proceeds support St. George’s religious, cultural and educational programming.

Each year, the parish of St. George, Piscataway, brings its well-known "Greek Hospitality" to the community.  A staple in Piscataway Township and Middlesex County, it is one of the largest and well-attended Greek Festivals in the state of New Jersey attracting over 15,000 patrons during the weekend. This Central Jersey tradition is known for its warm hospitality, enthusiastic volunteers and delicious homemade Greek foods and pastries. Their recipes have been passed down for several generations within our community, and are a testament to the connection they have to their Greek heritage.

New This Year! The Festival Committee has reworked the Festival layout expanding the Outdoor Taverna and Bar area and added a Coffee Shop and Bakery under the tent! This coffee shop will serve all the Greek favorites: iced Frappe, iced Freddo Espresso, iced Freddo Cappuccino, as well as hot Greek and American coffees and tea and desserts! The in-door Bakery and Coffee Shop have been expanded to include seating.

Vendors include: Mati Jewels, D's Jewelers, Anastasia's Creations, Byzanthea Jewelry, Kiki Inguaggiato Art, and Sojourn Scents, and Bakaliko (Greek groceries) can be found in the in-door dining room.
