4) Mercer County Announces 2025 Come Out and Play Camp Out - (HOPEWELL, NJ) -- Mercer County Executive Dan Benson invited families to spend a night in Rosedale Park at Mercer County's annual Come Out and Play Camp Out. Parents and children can look forward to an evening of stargazing, games, and roasting hot dogs and s'mores by the campfire. Weather permitting, the Camp Out is scheduled for Saturday, June 7 through the morning of Sunday, June 8, 2025.

5) New Jersey Youth Symphony Dedicates New Musical Commission to Retiring Conductor Michelle Hatcher - (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS), a program of Wharton Arts, announced that Conductor Michelle Hatcher will retire at the end of the 2024-25 season after a distinguished career leading two NJYS ensembles, Primo Strings and Concertino Strings, for thirteen years.

6) NJ Rep Looks at Family Relationships in 'Comfort' - Relationships within families vary in scope and importance. But the influence that parents have on their children provide some of the most crucial ones. A new play running at New Jersey Repertory Company examines that issue in a show called Comfort. Written by Neil LaBute, the play focuses on the relationship between a mother and a son. In the process of examining that relationship, other issues arise including whether everyone should be a parent or not.

With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman & Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright, The Little Mermaid is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film produced by Howard Ashman & John Musker and written & directed by John Musker & Ron Clements.

The show celebrates the music and dancing of the Legendary 'King of Pop', Michael Jackson. This multimedia theatrical experience takes audiences on a Visual and Musical Journey through the life of the greatest entertainer of all time.
