(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Discover the magic in family life with New York Times and USA Today bestselling novelist TJ Klune. He'll take you inside the new installment of his "Cerulean Chronicles," Somewhere Beyond the Sea, during his Ocean County Library Virtual Author Talk on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The event begins at 7:00pm.

Somewhere Beyond the Sea continues the saga of ex-youth case worker Linus Baker and orphanage headmaster Arthur Parnassus which began in The House in the Cerulean Sea, in which Linus placed six dangerous magical children under Arthur’s care to determine if they’re capable of ending the world.

In the sequel, Linus has left the Department in Charge of Magical Youth to become Arthur’s life partner. They hope to adopt the magical brood and provide the support and protection that all magical people deserve. But when Arthur is forced to open his own dark past to public scrutiny, he wades into a battle for his new family’s future.

Both books are available in print, audio and digital versions at the Ocean County Library along with Klune’s The Extraordinaries, Flash Fire, Heat Wave, In the Lives of Puppets, Ravensong, Wolfsong and Under the Whispering Door.
