(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Morris Educational Foundation (MEF) has announced the 16 acts that will perform in the 18th annual Morristown ONSTAGE fundraising event. Featuring the best amateur talent from Morristown, Morris Plains and Morris Township, the show will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC).

A community staple for 17 years, Morristown ONSTAGE brings people of all ages together to celebrate and discover unique local talent all to benefit the Morris School District and support public education. This year’s event will feature 16 amazing acts comprised of District students, residents, employees and individuals in and around town.

“Morristown ONSTAGE auditions were extremely competitive this year, with over 70 acts vying for a spot in the 2025 show,” said Chris Volinsky, co-chair of the Morristown ONSTAGE committee and current Morris Educational Foundation Board of Trustee. “We certainly had our work cut out for us, but in the end, we selected an amazing group of finalists who will shine on the Mayo Performing Arts Center stage on March 4.”

As in years past, the finalists will compete for one of two 1st place $1,000 cash prizes – one for contestants ages 19 and over and one for contestants ages 18 and under. Additionally, $500 will be awarded to the “Audience Choice” Winner, which is a “text-to-vote” at the end of the show, and a $250 Rossoff Rising Star Award for talent training chosen by the Morristown ONSTAGE Steering Committee.

Tickets to attend Morristown ONSTAGE will go on sale in early 2025. To become a sponsor or purchase an advertisement in the Morristown ONSTAGE playbill to support the finalists and benefit the Morris Educational Foundation, visit www.morristownonstage.com.
