Harry's BOO BAR - Halloween-themed Pop-Up Open Now Through End of October

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Now through the end of October, Harry's Bar and Grille in Cape May is unleashing the spirits with the debut of Harry's BOO BAR, their very first Halloween-themed pop-up experience! Harry's is transformed into a haunted pirate's den filled with spine-chilling decor, eerie lighting, and an ambiance to raise the dead! Skeleton crew? Check. Ghostly pirate props? Double check. This is one haunted hangout you won’t want to miss.

Come ready to eat, drink and be scary at Cape May's first-ever Halloween pop-up bar. Harry's is located at  1025 Beach Ave, Cape May. Hours are Wednesday Noon to 9:00pm, Thursday Noon to 9:00pm, Friday Noon to 10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 11:00pm and Sunday 8:00am to 9:00pm. Stay tuned for added days and hours leading up to Halloween.

"Following the runaway success of Harry's Jingle Bar (Christmas Pop-up) in 2023, we are back with Cape May's first-ever Halloween themed bar," said Madison Resorts Owner Dan Alicea. "Our team had so much fun with Jingle Bar and the reaction from the community was so amazing, we immediately said we wanted to present a Halloween twist on the idea."

Aliciea added, "Over the last few years we've seen a pretty dramatic increase in visitor traffic between Labor Day and Memorial Day. It's a great time of year to be at the shore and I think a lot of people are starting to realize that. Hotel rates are generally a little bit lower, there's much less traffic and crowds and the weather has still been really good for a few months into the fall. With this new increase in traffic our properties and other hospitality businesses at the shore have been adding programming around popular holidays like Halloween in the fall, Christmas in the Winter and St Patrick's Day in the Spring. This has been great for not only Madison Resorts but the communities that our properties operate in as a whole."

Harry's Jingle Bar Christmas Pop-up drew lines down the street, now Harry's presents the shore's first official Halloween themed pop-up bar - complete with a spooky season make-over of the entire bar and restaurant with bone-chilling vibes with a nautical shore-twist. The entire design and production was done with in-house talent - who recently also designed the critically acclaimed sister property Madison Resort Wildwood Crest.

For a charity tie-in, Harry's Boo Bar has teamed up with the Cape May Beach Patrol, who donated one of their wooden beach boats for the haunted pirate ship display - casting its spell outside Harry's and in front of the Montreal. Harry's Boo Bar will collect donations for the Patrol's Cannone Scholarship Fund. When customers donate to the fund, Harry's will say thanks with tickets to win great prizes - and Madison Resorts will MATCH all donations made. The winning tickets will be pulled at the Halloween Party, on October 26th.

To complement the ghostly decor, the BOO BAR features a ghoulish cocktail menu designed to thrill! Savor a smoking Davy Jones Juice, brave Blackbeard’s Rum served in an IV blood bag, or take a sip of the devilishly delightful Captain Jack O’ Lantern. For those feeling extra wicked, try the Corpse Reviver or our signature Black Lagoon with a black salted rim.
