ACC Gallery presents Solo Exhibition by Jinsoon Oh

originally published: 07/21/2024

(TENAFLY, NJ) -- Jinsoon Oh, an artist based in Salisbury, Maryland, is hosting her twelfth solo exhibition at ACC Gallery in Tenafly. The exhibition, a culmination of her artistic journey, will run from July 24th to August 7, 2024.

Inspired by Oh's unique vision and imagination, her works skillfully tell profound stories that resonate with audiences. Her recent works explore the relationships between objects, humans, and temporality, providing compelling insights into reflective aspects of life. In the exhibition “The Space in Between,” the artist employs a unique approach, using vertical lines of various colors to deconstruct the shape and create simple yet intense expressions. Oh's bold approach captures time and space, memory and space, surrealism and space, conveying an intimate and intuitive narrative that leaves a deep impression and offers a philosophical visual perception. Additionally, the recently launched "Embrace" series aims to symbolize regaining the inner human warmth that has been lost in modern society.

Jinsoon Oh is a graduate of Sejong University in South Korea and moved to the States in 2016. She is an active member of the Korean-American Artists Association in Washington, D.C. She is passionately participating in the local art scene through solo and group exhibitions in Maryland and the Greater Washington DC area, including Salisbury University, the Center for the Arts in Ocean City, Rehoboth Beach Art League, and Salisbury Art Space and has received numerous awards and recognitions.
