The Theater Project presents Kaleidoscope Kabaret, an Annual Festival of Songs and Short Plays (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- From June 28-30, 2024, The Theater Project presents Kaleidoscope Kabaret, its annual showcase of new work, at Luna Stage. Audiences are invited to see a variety of short plays by members of the company's Playwrights Workshop whose work has been performed in Canada, Great Britain, New York and around the US. This year's event also includes two plays by high school/college playwrights, past honorees of The Theater Project's annual Young Playwrights Competition. Bordentown Regional High School sophomore Brynn Bowyer awarded 2024 Cappie Award for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical (SPRINGFIELD, PA) -- At this year's annual Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award Gala, Bordentown Regional High School sophomore Brynn Bowyer was awarded the 2024 Cappie Award for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as Morticia in the Bordentown Regional High School production of The Addams Family. In addition, Brynn also received the 2024 Greater Philadelphia Cappies Spirit Award for Bordentown Regional High School, recognizing her leadership qualities, positive attitude, and spirit of teamwork throughout The Addams Family rehearsals and performances. The Gala, held Sunday, May 2nd at Cardinal O'Hara High School, honored high school theatre productions from the 2023-2024 season.

Princeton's Second Sunday Poetry Reading to Feature Phyllis Frakt and Marie Gray Wise (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 4:00pm.
