As part of the non-profit organization, Music Village, Founder Carl Brister presented five high school students who are rising artists with scholarships. The Block Party, a platform for these talented individuals, highlighted the five New Jersey High School students who were awarded $500.00 each. Three students are from West Orange, one from Montclair, and another from Holmdel. These students, with their exceptional talent and dedication, are a beacon of hope for our community, and their performances at the block party before being awarded their scholarship are a testament to their hard work and potential.

Music Village also provides needs-based scholarships to rising young students of the arts who are invited to perform at The Love+Unity Fest.  "Our goal", Brister adds, "is to empower aspiring artists & to inspire unity in the community through music and the arts."
