(NASHVILLE, TN) - Nashville recording artist Rockin' Rich Lynch has just released his latest attention-grabbing track called "Shootout at the Not Okay Corral" that is quickly drawing praise and critical acclaim from points near and far. Lynch calls the song a fiery anthem in defense of positive mental health. But, if you ask him where the idea came from he will shrug his shoulders and point skyward.

"This is another one of those projects that I found myself channeling from the great beyond," Lynch detailed. "Basically, I picked up a guitar and no sooner did the first two verses emerge fully formed. Once I saw that the phrase 'not okay' was going to be in the title I knew this was going to be about responding to the ongoing attack on the world's collective mindset that has been happening these past many years."

In addition to pulling the initial lyrics to his latest offering seemingly out of the ether, Rockin' Rich Lynch then had a little help from nature courtesy of some jolting real-life cries from the animal kingdom.

"I had just started the song and my wife called me downstairs to ask what the strange noise was coming from just outside our window," Lynch recalled. "That's when I heard the most haunting and disturbing sound in my life as a pack of coyotes were making a disturbance about 50 yards from us. I got out my cell phone and recorded their howls that open and close the track. The 'hounds of hell' also get name-checked in verse three."

Next, Rockin' Rich did a little research into the historical Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and incorporated a nod to that event into his presentation.

So, what we are left with is a powerful punk-leaning offering from Rockin' Rich Lynch that directly confronts the lying media, the patrons of propaganda, the ubiquity of corrupt politicians and the recently re-activated merchants of war - all in a fast-paced three minute and seventeen second track that flies by as it calls out all the disturbing trends that have recently rendered many citizens of the world bruised and battered in both mind and spirit.

"Just so there's no mistaking what I'm talking about," Lynch confirmed. "This all really began when we were locked into our homes for more than a year - and longer in some cases. Following that there has been a non-stop, almost constant and pervasive attack on common sense and human connection through what seems to be a predetermined plan to cause unrelenting strife and division among people. Personally, I am sick of it and this song is about taking my power back while offering some solace to the downtrodden souls in our society who are having trouble making their way in the midst of all of this."

To accomplish such a heavy task and undertaking Lynch returned to the much-heralded Dallas Jack and his ever expanding Spade Creative to get the job done.

"Dallas did it again," Lynch remarked. "There's really not much more to say. We have done more than an album's worth of material since our unlikely chance meeting on the banks of the Cumberland River in 2020 and we aren't done yet. Things are really starting to flow nicely now and I have more important songs to sing. Stay tuned!"

Rich Lynch is a singer/songwriter who began his professional recording career in 2014 with "I Want to Live in a Dome". The artist who grew up in New Jersey has released over 40 critically acclaimed digital singles to the online marketplace and he is currently hard at work in Nashville on several new tracks that will see the light of day in the near future.
