(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- In spite of some big personal, familial losses recently, The Porchistas have been very productive lately. They released the first of two new Christmas songs from a new holiday EP on December 18, 2023 . The band will also host and perform at a fundraiser on Saturday, December 23rd for the family of their friend Jesse in Accidental Seabirds.
"A Dirty Jersey Christmas" is a six-song EP of four original Holiday songs by the Porchistas (two of which were written and recorded about 15 years ago but never officially released) and two covers that the band recorded last year.
On Saturday December 23rd, the band will host a Holiday Show at their house at 148 Forest Street with short sets by a bunch of badass locals. Santa will be there from 4:00pm-5:00pm. All ages welcome. They'll be snacks and hot toddies. $10 suggested donation and more will be accepted from generous donors. All Funds will be added to the GoFundMe of Kate and Jesse Herdman. This situation is devastating and Jesse has been there for the Porchistas too many times to count. Please help us help the Herdman family.
The concert will include performances by: Bern Strong, Dean Nevolis (of The Defending Champions & Fruitbodies), Deivito, Matt McMickle (of the You & Eyes and many more projects), Joe Allocco, and The Porchistas playing their new holiday tunes.
