(NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage: The Children’s Theatre of New Jersey is currently presenting the first show of their 42nd Season, The Hardy Boys In The Mystery Of The Haunted House. Based on The Hardy Boys novel “The House on the Cliff” by Franklin W. Dixon and adaptation by Jon Klein, this production runs October 13-29, 2023. This production is directed by Stephen L. Fredericks, Founder and Executive Director of The Growing Stage. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

 



The Lord Stirling Theater Company presents “A Murder Is Announced”
 

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) — The Lord Stirling Theater Company will perform the Agatha Christie murder mystery “A Murder Is Announced“ in the English Barn Theater at the Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. Performances run October 20-22 and October 27-29, 2023.

Makin Waves with Reagan Richards: ‘Sacred Ground‘
 

Singer-songwriter Reagan Richards of the Asbury Park country duo Williams Honor with Gordon Brown is honoring her recently departed mother, Harriet, a big band singer from Pittsburgh who performed many times with Les Paul throughout her career. Reagan’s sentimental journey through the Great American Songbook, “with love, reagan,” features material by songwriting legends, such George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Johnny Mercer, and Rodgers & Hammerstein.

 



Performance artist Sholeh Asgary and jazz clarinetist David Rothenberg to Perform at Gallery Bergen
 

(PARAMUS, NJ) — Iranian American sound/performance artist Sholeh Asgary and ECM recording artist/clarinetist David Rothenberg will perform in an evening of new music and improvisation at Bergen Community College’s Gallery Bergen on Friday, November 3, 2023, beginning at 7:00pm. Ghost Wind is a part of the ongoing exhibition at the gallery, The Cup Flows Over: Art from the Soul of Iran presenting the art of contemporary Iranian artists from Iran and the diaspora. Trivia Night Fundraiser at Vivid Stage
 

(SUMMIT, NJ) — Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is holding a Trivia Night Fundraiser on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Instead of hosting a more formal gala, Vivid will throw several casual, less-expensive fundraisers this year. The event will include pizza, snacks, drinks and dessert, as well as an interactive game. The party will be held at the Oakes Center, 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
