(BOUND BROOK, NJ) -- The Bound Brook Presbyterian Church presents Daoine on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 7:00pm. This is an evening of traditional Irish music, song and dance.
Daoine (pronounced "DEE-na") is a group of musicians and their friends whom love to get together and play great Irish music and share it with listeners – from dance music like jigs, reels and hornpipes, to hauntingly beautiful airs and songs. Irish traditional music that, while played for centuries in Ireland and America, continues to inspire and continues to find a new voice with each generation. Their music has a fire and energy to it, while striving to stay true to its roots.
The concert will feature Linda Hickman (flute); Alice Ryan (song & dance); Max Carmichael (song and strings); Phil Weir (fiddle); and Brian Szura (uilleann pipes).
Tickets are $20 per person. Tickets will be available at the door.
