(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Foundation will welcome author and education scholar Robert Pondiscio to the Main Stage at the Grunin Center for the Arts on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This event is part of the Foundation’s Blauvelt Speaker Series. It is scheduled to begin at 11:00am.
Robert Pondiscio is a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where he focuses on K–12 education, curriculum, teaching, school choice, and charter schooling. He is the author of many books, most recently How the Other Half Learns: Equality, Excellence and the Battle Over School Choice, which was praised as “unsparingly honest” by the New York Times Book Review and “a work of genius” by the Washington Post.
The cost of this ticket has been generously underwritten by the sponsors of the Blauvelt Speaker Series. Admission is free and open to the public, although advance registration is required. For tickets, visit grunincenter.org or call the Grunin Center Box Office at 732-255-0500.
The Grunin Center is located on OCC’s main campus on College Drive in Toms River. The event will also be presented via livestream.
The Blauvelt Speaker Series is funded in part by the generosity of the late Bradford Thomas and Eleanor G. Blauvelt and the Wintrode Family Foundation.
