'Twas the Night Before...' by Cirque Du Soleil comes to Chicago and NY (NEW YORK, NY) -- Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) announced that the acclaimed family holiday theatrical – 'Twas the Night Before... by Cirque du Soleil – is returning to both The Theater at Madison Square Garden and The Chicago Theatre this holiday season. The holiday themed show will run concurrently at The Theater at Madison Square Garden and The Chicago Theatre for 28 performances each from December 7 through December 28. Tickets for both engagements go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:00am local time.

Indie Street Film Festival to Raffle Off Spot For Costa Rica Screenwriter Retreat (RED BANK, NJ) -- The Indie Street Film Festival is hosting a fundraiser for the non-profit Indie Street Institute on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Triump Brewery (1 Bridge Avenue) in Red Bank. They will be raffling off a spot to a Costa Rica screenwriting retreat lead by Oscar winner (and NJ native) David Rabinowitz. Registration Open for MPAC Fall Performing Arts School Classes (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Registration for Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC)'s fall Performing Arts Classes has begun. Classes begin the week of September 18, 2023 and run for 14 weeks. Classes will be offered for children as young as three through adult. 5th Annual Reading Under the Stars to Take Place on Wednesday (NEWARK, NJ) -- The City of Newark will host the fifth annual "Reading Under the Stars" for youth and families on Wednesday, August 9 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in Ivy Hill Park, at Mt. Vernon Place, in the West Ward. Two acclaimed children's book authors will read their works, and a screening of the family film "Puss in Boots" will follow at 8:30pm. The event is FREE and open to the public.
