West Hudson Arts & Theater Company Announces Cast for "Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic"
 

(WEST HUDSON, NJ) -- The West Hudson Arts & Theater Co (WHATCo) has announced the cast for The Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic by Matt Cox. This will be WHATCo's first Main Stage production of 2023, running across two weekends (October 20-22 and October 26-28, 2023) at The Theater at WHATCo (15 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. South) in Harrison, NJ.

(MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- Dr. Ruth Meets Emily Post: With help from her assistant Paco and a few cooperative audience volunteers, Miss Abigail demonstrates flirtation techniques from 1940s and 50s how-to-find-romance handbooks to prove that "love can't be bought -- but it can be taught!" in Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage! The Theater Project presents this play by Ken Davenport & Sarah Saltzberg from August 17-27, 2023 in Maplewood, NJ.

For this special show, they will perform songs from repertoire of The Band, learned directly from The Band and songs Louie created with The Band including their comeback hit "Atlantic City," he collaborated with The Band for over fifteen years. TEDxCapeMay to Take Place October 15th

Newark Symphony Hall Names New CEO and Celebrates Phase One Completion of $75M Restoration
 

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Newark Symphony Hall (NSH), New Jersey's largest Black-led arts and entertainment venue, has completed the first phase of its $75 million capital improvement program. The multi-year project is spearheaded by Talia L. Young, the venue's newly appointed CEO who recently secured an additional $4 million for NSH in Governor Murphy's 2024 state budget, bringing the total funding from New Jersey to $15 million over the past three years. Newark Symphony Hall's renovations are set to be completed by 2025, coinciding with its 100th anniversary.
