The Theater Project presents "Black Lives/Blue Lives"
 

(MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Theater Project, a leading incubator for rising talent and a showcase for New Jersey artists, will be offering the thought-provoking interactive program, Black Lives/Blue Lives at 7:30pm, Monday and Tuesday, July 31 and August 1, 2023. Tickets for the performance and facilitated discussion are $20. Performances take place at the Burgdorff Center.

 



Luna Stage's Teen Summer Conservatory presents "Middletown" by Will Eno
 

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage's Teen Summer Conservatory celebrates its fifth season this year. Over the course of four weeks, students engage in a conservatory-style training program culminating in a public performance on Luna's MainStage. The experience encourages teens to forge a meaningful connection to theatre and engage with the community. This year's conservatory production will be Middletown by Will Eno, running August 4-6, 2023.

The Pretenders to Play Nine Intimate Venues includes Bowery Ballroom and Stone Pony
 

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Pretenders have announced a very special US headline tour, set to visit a series of intimate venues across the country beginning August 16 at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom and then continuing into early October. The tour includes a stop at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

Jersey Shore sensation Layonne Holmes to lead two shows at Bell Works this summer
 

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Layonne Holmes brings her rich, soulful voice to the outdoor deck at Bell Works on two summer evenings. On Sunday, July 23, she helms The Motor City Revue, the group she co-founded in 2011. She returns on Sunday, August 13 for Soul Celebration alongside powerhouse vocalists JaQuita May and Khadijah Mohammed.

 



Symphony in C Announces Noam Aviel as Music Director
 

(COLLINGSWOOD, NJ) -- New Jersey-based professional training orchestra Symphony in C has announced the appointment of its new Music Director, Noam Aviel. Aviel, who recently appeared as a guest conductor with Symphony in C in January 2023, is recognized for her deep understanding of stylistic approaches in a wide range of repertoire from opera to jazz to symphonic music. Aviel began her position in July and will conduct five concerts as part of Symphony in C's 2023-2024 season.

Centenary Stage Company presents The Earth Wind & Fire Tribute Band on Saturday
 

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company continues their Summerfest lineup of events with a concert event on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 8:00pm featuring The Earth Wind & Fire Tribute Band. This performance will take place in The Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center on the campus of Centenary University at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ.
