The video states: "Dedicated to all the independent musicians who - literally and figuratively - are keeping their vans on the road." The band states, "We've all had that awkward conversation with ourselves as creators - Am I kidding myself? Is this a world that will let me in or should I give this up and seek out one that will? Maybe advanced accounting?"
I'm thinking bout selling the van / I just can't get back on the road again / To one more empty room / It's something that I can't stand
I'm thinking bout selling the kit / And spending more time with the wife and kid / Get myself a 9 to 5 / Do the work my dad did
Though we never changed / anybody's minds / it never felt like wasted time
But I've started thinking / weighing the pros and cons / has our time come and gone
