(WESTAMPTON, NJ) -- The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey will perform a free outdoor concert at the Burlington County Amphitheater on Saturday, July 1st. As part of Burlington County's summer concert series, this event promises an unforgettable evening of patriotic music, featuring the debut performance of the orchestra's new Music Director, James Allen Anderson. The PSNJ will take the stage at 7:00pm, preceded by a captivating opening act featuring singer-songwriter Sahara Moon, starting at 6:00pm.
Concertgoers will be delighted by a celebratory program featuring masterpieces by American composers Aaron Copland and Leroy Anderson, patriotic tunes by Irving Berlin and John Philip Sousa, and beloved standards from the American songbook by George Gershwin. As a special treat, soprano Kayla Harriott will grace the stage, adding an enchanting vocal dimension to the evening's performance.
The concert will take place at the picturesque Burlington County Amphitheater, located at 5 Pioneer Blvd, Westampton, NJ. With its sprawling green surroundings, the amphitheater offers a magnificent setting for a summer evening of music and community gathering. The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey is an 85+ piece symphony orchestra formed in 1991 to provide quality classical music to people throughout southern New Jersey and the Delaware Valley.
