originally published: 03/22/2023

(CARTERET, NJ) -- After a highly lauded debut in January of 2022, electrifying rock stars from the original cast of Broadway’s groundbreaking musical Rock of Ages will return to headline the Carteret Performing Arts and Event Center on Saturday, April 1st. Showtime is 8:00pm.

The all-star group features internationally renowned rock stars such as guitarist Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Cher, TSO), guitarist Tommy Kessler (Blondie), bassist Winston Roye (Soul Asylum), keyboard player Jonathan Ivie (Air Supply), drummer Jason Gianni (TSO), and vocalists MiG Ayesa (Rock Star: INXS) and Josephine Rose Roberts (Cats, The Electric Company).

The band will perform, in concert, all the great hits from the 5-time Tony nominated smash Broadway show, which includes ‘80s “hair band” classics from Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Journey, Whitesnake, Poison, Joan Jett, Styx, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, Def Leppard, and many more.

The group has brought their spectacular musicianship and show-stopping stage presence to theaters, casinos, fairs, amphitheaters, and corporate events in locales ranging from The Caribbean to Alaska, and from Florida to California, never failing to have the audience clamoring for more.

For more than six years, Broadway’s Rock Of Ages Band was the driving force that rocked Broadway and millions of fans, collectively performing more than 10,000 performances of the five-time Tony Award-nominated show, including the long-running Broadway production and critically acclaimed national tour. Rock of Ages was known as “Broadway’s best party,” and Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band was the force behind the party.
