(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) presents Gloria Gaynor on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 7:00pm. Gaynor's legendary career spans over 50 years, never losing momentum. The 2x GRAMMY® winner has achieved global stardom with hit songs in the charts in all five decades.

She has also shared her talent through roles in film, television, and the Broadway stage.  A full length feature documentary film, “Gloria Gaynor: I Will Survive,” debuted at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival where it was an official selection, receiving critical acclaim from critics and the festival audience. The documentary has gone on to win awards at several other film festivals and will soon make its streaming debut worldwide. While the film does follow Gloria’s exceptional life and career, it also dives deep into the past ten years where Gloria wrote, recorded, and self-funded her first gospel album, “TESTIMONY,” that won the 2020 GRAMMY® Award for Best Roots Gospel Album.

Gloria recently celebrated her 81st birthday in September 2024 and shows no sign of slowing down. She has been co-writing new songs with an array of talented songwriters who have written hits for Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainor, Dolly Parton, Maroon 5, and more. She plans to release the new songs via a brand new EP entitled, “Happy Tears,” in February 2025. Be sure to follow Gloria on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, or wherever you enjoy streaming your favorite music.

Tickets range from $59-$129 and are available for purchase online or by calling the Box Office at (201) 227-1030. Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) is located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey.

February is a big month for Gloria as the biopic feature film, “Robin Roberts Presents - I Will Survive: The Gloria Gaynor Story,” premiered Saturday, February 8th on the Lifetime Network.

The film chronicles Gloria's rise to fame, from her humble beginnings to becoming one of the most iconic voices in music history. Dubbed America’s “Queen of Disco,” the movie will feature many of the songs that catapulted Gloria to the top of the charts, including her legendary hit "I Will Survive," which became a cultural phenomenon and a powerful anthem of empowerment for millions worldwide. The biopic will also delve into the deeply personal challenges Gaynor faced, including overcoming her long and tumultuous marriage to a controlling husband.

Gloria continues to perform around the world with her ten piece band, appearing at major music festivals and concert events each year along with several high profile private engagements. Recent performances include the Joy Awards (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Le Bal de la Rose (Monte Carlo, Monaco), the Cannes Film Festival (Cannes, France). Gloria headlined the world famous Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in September, performing to an audience of over 150,000.

She has been honored by major institutions including the Library of Congress, the Martin Luther King Jr. Award, the New Jersey Hall of Fame, the World Music Icon Award, the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award and many more.

Gloria has authored two top selling books; an autobiography & a second book which received a 2015 GRAMMY nomination for, “Best Spoken Word Album.” She also donates her time, talent, and money to several charitable organizations focusing on cancer research, animal rescue and military family support.
