(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Start 2023 with a resolution to make a difference in your community, as a member of the Tuckerton Library Association. Trustees invite you to become acquainted with them in the Ocean County Library Tuckerton Branch on Monday, January 16. The event begins at 7:00pm.

Formed in 1875, the Tuckerton Library Association guides the Branch’s growth and defines the characteristics that have ensured its place as a vital community resource of education, enrichment, and entertainment. The Association owns and maintains the building and grounds of the Tuckerton Branch, which marked its 50th year in the Ocean County Library System in 2022.

The Association is composed of local people who volunteer their time and talents in support of the oldest continually operating Library in Ocean County. New and sustaining members are always needed, for its preservation and enhancement.

The Board of Trustees consists of Karren Amon, Renee Gioiello, Stephanie Guerin, Lynne Haley, Nancy Hunziker, Sue Marshall, Joanne McAndrew, Elaine McClure, Wendy McKeel-Chandler, Pamela Mickens-Guerin, and Jeanne Sutton.

Please feel free to register at the Tuckerton Branch, 380 Bay Avenue. Walk-ins are welcome. For more information, call  (609) 296-1470. Keep up with Library programs and events at www.theoceancountylibrary.org
