Creating Change Network Seeks Participation from the New Jersey Arts Community for National Day of Racial Healing
 

The Creating Change Network, a program hosted by New Jersey Theatre Alliance and ArtPride New Jersey that aims to build a more equitable, just, accessible, and anti-racist arts community in New Jersey, will facilitate participation by the state’s arts community in the National Day of Racial Healing, on January 17, 2023.

The Artist Dor Guez Examines the Layered Histories of Jerusalem at the Princeton University Art Museum
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Jaffa-based artist Dor Guez’s penetrating transformations of early twentieth-century photographs of Jerusalem will be the subject of a thought-provoking exhibition at the Princeton University Art Museum’s galleries at ArtatBainbridge. The exhibition, titled Colony / Dor Guez, opens December 10, 2022, and will be on view through February 12, 2023.

United Way and local partners provide Newark residents with financial literacy assistance during "Season of Savings"
 

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The holiday season brings joy and cheer to those celebrating, but for some can also bring a financial strain. As the calendar gets set to turn to December and the holiday season kicks off, United Way of Greater Newark has worked with dedicated partners to host financial workshops and events covering a range of topics surrounding financial stability. The “Season of Savings” operates with virtual and in-person info sessions and hands-on assistance on November 30, December 1, and December 7.

Union County to Hold Emergency Holiday Food Distribution, Dec. 17
 

(UNION, NJ) -- The Union County Board of County Commissioners has announced that an emergency food distribution event for Union County residents will take place on Saturday, December 17 at KEAN University in Union Township, located at 1000 Morris Avenue.  It is a drive-thru event that begins at 8:00am. The food distribution is open to all Union County residents. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and no registration is required. The events will take place rain or shine.
