Brook Arts Center Celebrates the Holiday Season

(BOUND BROOK, NJ) -- Discover the magic of the theater this holiday season at the Brook Arts Center in Bound Brook, as special holiday events, musicals, and concerts light up the spirit of the season. From Seussical to A Christmas Carol and everything in between, there’s a lot going on this holiday season at the Historic Brook Theater!

November 11-20:  Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Immerse yourself in the world of all our favorite Dr. Seuss characters - Horton the, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie, and Jojo, a little boy with a big imagination.

December 2-11: A Christmas Carol - Experience the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge on his redemptive journey with Christmas Past, Present, and Future, and rediscover the true meaning of the holidays.

December 10 at 12:00pm All aboard The Polar Express! Come watch The Polar Express on the big screen in your comfiest pajamas with friends and family. Get your Golden Ticket and enjoy the movie, cookies, and a sleigh bell for every child, given out by Santa himself.

December 16 at 8:00pm. Christmas with Chris Ruggiero features fan favorites from his much-anticipated Christmas album such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as well as songs from his four albums, all delivered in Chris’s own classic style. Joined by Emil Stucchio & the Classics.

December 18 at 3:00pm: Brook Orchestra Holiday Pops. Deck the concert hall with holly jolly fun as Conductor Thomas Vacca and the Brook Orchestra fills the theater with timeless holiday music favorites.

Visit www.brookarts.org for information and discounted advance purchase tickets or call 732-469-7700. Box Office opens at 6:00pm for walk-up sales. Concessions, Bar, and Free Parking are available. The Brook Arts Center is located in Bound Brook, NJ, one block from the Bound Brook Train station and a few short miles from Rt 22, 287, and 78.

Create Spectacular Giant Puppets and More for the Illumination 250 Parade, the Largest Public Art Experience in Bergen County

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation invites the public to participate in the special 'Giant Puppets Workshop Series' led by artists from the internationally acclaimed Processional Arts. The puppets created in the workshop series from August 14 through August 19, 2026 will be featured in a giant puppet parade marching down Main Street in Hackensack during Illumination 250, an all-day arts festival taking place on October 3rd to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
