(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- This October, White Eagle Hall presents an exciting schedule of events for everyone. Originally constructed in 1910 and reopened in 2017 after a multi-year, multi-million-dollar renovation, the 800-person capacity music venue in Jersey City currently has 12 shows scheduled this month.

The Jersey City landmark remains a major hub of entertainment for everyone, delivering a diversified selection of shows. In the month of October, artists from Australia, Nigeria, Scotland, Sweden, Ukraine, South Korea, and England will all perform on White Eagle Hall’s stage.

Upcoming White Eagle Hall Shows in October:

10/7/2022  Noche de Verano Sin Ti: Celebración de Bad Bunny!: 'NOCHE DE VERANO SIN TI' is a dance party for fans of Bad Bunny. We play the best of his music all night long. ¡Vamos a bailar! DJ set by @therealhoneycafe.

10/14/2022 - Gimme Gimme Disco: Calling all Dancing Queens! If you can’t get enough ABBA then do we have a dance party for you. We’ll be playing all your favorite ABBA hits, plus plenty of other disco hits from the 70s & 80's like The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, & Cher (DISCO ATTIRE ENCOURAGED). So honey honey, take-a-chance and you’ll be dancing all night long.

10/17/2022 - shame + V**gra Boys: There are moments on Shame’s Drunk Tank Pink where you almost have to reach for the sleeve to check this is the same band who made 2018’s Songs Of Praise. Such is the jump Shame have made from the riotous post-punk of their debut to the sprawling adventurism and twitching anxieties laid out here. The South Londoner’s blood and guts spirit, that wink and grin of devious charm, is still present, it’s just that it’s grown into something bigger, something deeper, more ambitious and unflinchingly honest.

On their third album, Cave World, the Stockholm-based V**gra Boys weaponize absurdity, tossing firecrackers into the middle of the room and standing around to see the reaction. "I just love when things get lost in translation," vocalist Sebastian Murphy says. "The whole world is going backwards, and I'm not going to tell anyone what to believe or what side to take." After spending the last two years thinking a lot about conspiracy theorists, anarcho-primitivism memes, and anti-vaxxers, Murphy came to a simple conclusion. "It just feels like the world is so stupid," he says, his voice a furrowed blend of impish smirk and smoker's rasp. "But I kind of like when stuff is a little stupid."

10/18/2022 – AleXa: Be there for K-Pop Superstar ALEXA’s first meet & live tour in the United States.

10/19/2022 - DakhaBrakha/Global Music/Ukraine: DakhaBrakha is a music quartet from Kyiv, Ukraine. Reflecting fundamental elements of sound and soul, the Ukrainian “ethnic chaos” band DakhaBrakha creates a world of unexpected new music. DakhaBrakha was created in 2004 at the Kyiv Center of Contemporary Art “DAKH” by the avant-garde theatre director – Vladyslav Troitskyi – and given the name that means “give/take” in the old Ukrainian language.

10/21/2022 - Ibibio Sound Machine: Fronted by Nigerian singer Eno Williams, Ibibio Sound Machine is a clash of African and electronic elements inspired in equal measure by the golden era of West-African funk & disco and modern post-punk & electro. The band’s self-titled debut album was released in 2014 on Soundway Records, and the follow-up, Uyai, was released in 2017 on Merge Records. The band’s latest release Electricity was produced by the Grammy Award– and Mercury Prize–nominated British synthpop group Hot Chip, a collaboration born out of mutual admiration watching each other on festival stages, as well as a shared love of Francis Bebey and Giorgio Moroder.

10/22/2022 - Bad Suns: LA-based Bad Suns, Brisbane-based Last Dinosaurs, and Brooklyn-based Quarters of Change head to the famed White Eagle Hall for an unforgettable night of live music. It’s that unmistakable Bad Suns sound – dreamy, pulsing ’80s synthesizers, flanked by Stratocasters through cranked Vox amps; and palpable, rhythmic energy – that endeared listeners to the band in the first place, and their fourth LP, APOCALYPSE WHENEVER, uses that musical foundation as the jumping-off point for their next evolution. Conceived as “the soundtrack to a movie that doesn’t yet exist,” the 13-track album, helmed by longtime producer Eric Palmquist (MUTEMATH, Thrice) at his Palmquist Studios and the band’s North Hollywood rehearsal spot, is more conceptually rigorous than anything they’ve ever attempted – but no less compelling or accessible.

10/23/2022 - Rocky Horror Picture Show: No Halloween season is quite complete without the authentic Rocky Horror Picture Show experience, so grab your ripped fishnets and get ready to do the Time Warp again with the RHPS at Hoboken shadow cast! In true tradition, Rocky Horror shadow casts involve a cast of actors who become the film’s characters and act out the entirety of the film in front of the screen as it's playing, adding an immersive element to the screening with vocal responses, costumes encouraged, and interaction between the cast and the audience members. It's a pillar of pop culture and a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience, so come as you are - and give yourself over to absolute pleasure

10/24/2022 - Ghost Of Uncle Joe's: SINdustry Night: The Ghost of Uncle Joe's haunts White Eagle Hall with a special SINdustry night performance of local bands, dressing up and performing as their favorite musical "influencers." The sets will feature the sounds of The Hives, Tame Impala, Queens of the Stone Age, New Order, ABBA, and My Chemical Romance. This annual fundraiser helps raise money for the Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery which was established in the 1830s as New Jersey's 1st non-denominational cemetery.

10/27/2022 - PJ Morton: PJ Morton is a multi-Grammy-winning R&B and soul singer, songwriter, performer and producer whose project, Gospel According to PJ, earned the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. The New York Times says the New Orleans native "runs the influences of Allen Toussaint and Stevie Wonder through a bevy ideas from R&B's more recent decades," and since the breakthrough of his 2017 LP Gumbo he's led a creative and critically-acclaimed streak of six self-released and self-produced albums, ten Grammy nominations and back-to-back-to-back wins, his first-ever NAACP Image Award and Soul Train nominations, BET Award nominations, appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Daily Show, The Tonight Show, TODAY Show, MSNBC, CNN, Inside the NBA, NPR's Tiny Desk, COLORS, The Super Bowl Halftime Show, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and more.

10/30/2022 - We Were Promised Jetpacks: Since releasing 2018’s The More I Sleep The Less I Dream, We Were Promised Jetpacks’ Adam Thompson, Sean Smith and Darren Lackie have embraced change head-on. Amicably parting ways with guitarist Michael Palmer, leaving a notable empty fourth corner in their practice room, it marked a transitory moment in the band’s acclaimed career, and one that would be cemented by events to come. Entering 2020 as a trio with a handful of songs written and a small tour under their belts, the world around them came to a sudden halt. Yet despite the unquestionable hardship that the lockdown brought with it, for a band looking to rebuild following a dramatic change, it also proved to be a blessing in disguise.

10/31/2022 - Harryween: Harry Styles Dance Party: Dance the night away to music from Harry Styles for a very special HARRYWEEN!
