Spotlight On State Theatre New Jersey's 2022-23 Broadway Season (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Tickets for State Theatre New Jersey’s 2022-23 Broadway Season, featuring Tony® Award-winning hits and Broadway fan favorites, go on sale on Friday, September 16 at 11:00am. The season includes performances of Tootsie, My Fair Lady, Legally Blonde—The Musical, and Jesus Christ Superstar. The series also includes Stomp, R.E.S.P.E.C.T, Menopause The Musical, and concerts with Broadway stars Linda Eder and Patti LuPone.

Black Veterans call-out National Museum of African American History for its indifference toward Military History (WASHINGTON, DC) -- Black Veteran Leaders and representatives will meet at the National Museum of African American History in Washington DC., on September 30, 2022 at 11:00am. The leaders will call on the National Museum to explain its decision to deny the Coalition of Black Veterans request to erect a statue of the legendary Buffalo Soldier Brigadier General Charles Young on the public Museum grounds. We believe the property is the proper location for historical reasons. It is a sad commentary that we must fight for equal recognition as Black Veterans in a facility that was initially requested to be established by Black Veterans.

Hudson Theatre Works presents "Little Red and the Hoods" (WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- Hudson Theatre Works presents Little Red and the Hoods by Karen Boettcher-Tate. This is their first children’s show in two years. Performances take place Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25 with shows at 1:00pm and 3:00pm each day. Beatriz Esteban-Messina directs this delightful retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, told as modern lessons for today's children.
