The Adelphi Orchestra presents Love Letter to Humanity

(FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- The Adelphi Orchestra welcomes audiences to its 69th consecutive season of "Music for All" with "Love Letter to Humanity" - a concert about musical love letters. Maestro Kyunghun Kim leads the Adelphi Orchestra in Richard Strauss's Serenade for Winds in E flat major, Op. 7, Gustav Mahler's Adagietto from Symphony no 5 (love song to his wife Alma), and  Johannes Brahms Symphony No 1 (Clara Schumann). Concerts take place on Friday, September 30 in Fair Lawn, NJ and Saturday, October 1 in New York City.

The concert takes place in two locations.  Friday, September 30 at the Fair Lawn Community Center Theater; showtime is 7:30pm.  And Saturday, October 1 at the Broadway Presbyterian Church in  NYC; showtime is 2:00pm.  The October 1st  concert will also be live-streamed

The Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit orchestra performing symphonic, chamber, operatic, choral, and dance concerts. For the past 19 years, the Adelphi Orchestra has sponsored a Young Artist Competition and Young Artist Concerts throughout New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. The Adelphi Orchestra presents concerts with accomplished national and international guest soloists and distinguished conductors. Nominated by its peers for the past 6 years in the Jersey Arts People's Choice Award in the Favorite Orchestra/Symphony Division, the Adelphi Orchestra is a member of the Chamber Music America and Opera America is a partner orchestra with the Carnegie Hall Link Up program providing in-school concerts. For the past 69 years, it is northern New Jersey's longest continuously performing orchestra and a member of the New Jersey cultural community.
