(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) is currently presenting the U.S. premiere of The Hummingbirds: A Comedy of Menace by Garret Jon Groenveld.  It is a comic-drama set in the future, which may be closer than you think.  Performances run from August 4-28, Thursdays through Sundays. "The Marvelous Wonderettes" is In Final Weekend at Centenary Stage


(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company and the NEXTStage Repertory’s production of The Marvelous Wonderettes is in its final weekend of performances. The final performances will run August 4-7 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center on the Centenary University campus at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ.

Shovels & Rope to perform at Asbury Lanes

Grunin Center presents "Ice-Cold Facts with Ice-T"


(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Rapper, actor, producer, author and speaker Ice-T will bring his Ice-Cold Facts to the Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College on Tuesday, September 20 at 6:30pm. Ice-T will discuss overcoming adversity and share the life lessons that helped him not just to survive, but to thrive. The Ocean County College Foundation presents this as part of the Blauvelt Lecture Series. Tickets are $15. 
Sounds of a Summer Night Concerts Continue at Reeves-Reed Arboretum


(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Summer concerts are in full swing at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, NJ! The Ryan Hernandez Jazz Quartet and The Suyat Band performed in June and July. Upcoming August performances include CC & The Boys on August 10 and Sahara Moon on August 24.
Billy Joel adds 86th Monthly Show at MSG

(MSGE) announced that by overwhelming demand, legendary musician and MSG franchise Billy Joel has added another show as part of his record-breaking residency at The World’s Most Famous Arena on Monday, December 19, 2022. Women's History: Passion and Power on exhibit at Monmouth University


(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Pollak Gallery at Monmouth University presents the gallery exhibition Women’s History; Passion and Power featuring the work of Julie Dzikiewicz a Virginia-based artist. Dzikiewicz works in ancient encaustic technique using melted wax as paint. The wax is layered and re-fired to create luminous, stained-glass effects and three-dimensional texture. The exhibition runs from August 1 – September 30, 2022. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
Jersey City Museum Collection Makes Its Debut at the Zimmerli This Fall


(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- This fall, the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University­-New Brunswick debuts a major addition to its permanent collection that offers a variety of perspectives on American art and life through a regional lens. American Stories: Gifts from the Jersey City Museum Collection, on view from September 1 to December 30, features nearly 100 paintings, prints, photographs, and sculptures.
