Old Library Theatre presents "It Shoulda Been You"


(FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department’s resident theatre company presents the Broadway musical, It Shoulda Been You, at the Fair Lawn Community Center. The show will be presented over two weekends, starting Friday July 29, and run through August 7th, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm. 
Algonquin Arts Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Team for "The Who's Tommy"


(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for its August musical, The Who’s Tommy, which runs from Friday, August 12 through Sunday, August 21. A smash-hit on both sides of the Atlantic, Tommy is a powerful tale of a deaf, mute and blind pinball player who becomes an international sensation bursts on the stage in this multi-award winning adaptation of the original chart-topping rock album. Hit songs include "Pinball Wizard," "See Me, Touch Me." This show contains adult content.

Patrick Parker, Paper Mill Playhouse’s Associate Artistic Director, Steps Down After 27 Years


(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has announced that Patrick Parker will step down as Associate Artistic Director after 27 years with the company on September 30, 2022.   Parker will continue on a consulting basis, assisting with the transition and consulting on a variety of special projects.

"Pure Feel-Good Music!" Railroad Earth LIVE! in Seaside Heights, NJ


The weather forecast may have predicted rain, but that hasn’t stopped music lovers of all ages from streaming onto the beach in Seaside Heights, NJ this Saturday, July 16, 2022 evening for a Seaside Heights Live concert by Railroad Earth. Formed in 2001, Railroad Earth is a New Jersey-based musical ensemble which employs a distinctive blend of progressive bluegrass, folk, country, rock, jazz, and Americana music.

(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- On Sunday August 21, 2022 at 7:30pm, Lizzie Rose Music presents The Pavilion in the Pines with a performance by Mike Zito at the Atlantic Shore Pines Campground in Tuckerton. Stevie Nicks Announces Second Leg Of 2022 Tour


Legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Nicks has announced the second leg of her highly anticipated 2022 tour, adding 12 dates to her run this fall. Produced by Live Nation, the second leg starts Monday, September 19th at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA, making stops across the U.S. in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Charlotte, and more before wrapping up on Friday, October 28th in West Palm Beach, FL at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. Locally she will perform at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park.

Newark to Host Annual Latin Festival on August 21st

Princeton Student Film Festival to Take Place August 3rd


(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The 2022 Princeton Student Film Festival will be held Wednesday, August 3 at the Princeton Public Library. Screenings will begin at 6:30pm in the library’s Community Room. Many of the filmmakers will be in attendance to talk about and answer questions about their films.

Dance on the Lawn set for September 10th


(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Dance on the Lawn, Montclair, NJ’s outdoor dance festival, will return this year to the front lawn of the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, on Saturday, September 10 from 3:00pm-5:00pm.  Live performances will include Nai-Ni Chen and Company, Maxine Steinman & Dancers, Sharron Miller's Academy for the Performing Arts and more. Also included in this year’s program will be an original work by William Ervin, winner of Dance on the Lawn’s 2022 “Emerging Commissioned NJ Choreographer” award. The event is free.
