Ocean County Library Toms River Branch presents "Paintings and Pours" by Jenna M. Yurga in July

originally published: 06/24/2022

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Library Toms River Branch hosts “Paintings and Pours: My Return to Art,” by Jenna Meyerberg-Yurga, during the month of July. The exhibit, which will be displayed in the McConnell Gallery, is Jenna’s gallery debut. It consists of abstract paintings created primarily by acrylic pour techniques.

Introduced to painting as a youngster, Jenna set aside her pursuit for many years to raise a family and earn a Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling. She then opened a private therapy practice in downtown Toms River.

Jenna re-discovered her artistic passion after joining the Harris Art Academy in Howell. “Painting and Pours” introduces viewers to her first collected works since becoming an art student, and highlights her extensive experimentation with acrylics.

“I enjoy sharing my passion for helping others, and my artwork, with the Toms River community,” she said. “I hope you’ll enjoy my collection.”

The exhibit is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For information, visit the Branch, 101 Washington Street, or call (732) 349-6200.
