Yardley Players presents “Oliver!” at Kelsey Theatre


(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Yardley Players presents “Oliver!” weekends July 8-17, 2022 at Kelsey Theatre located on the Mercer County Community College campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor. A perennial favorite, this three-time Tony Award-winning musical appeals to the emotions with its drama, and is guaranteed to delight with spirited, timeless songs like “As Long as He Needs Me,” “Food, Glorious Food,” “Consider Yourself,” “I'd Do Anything” and “Where is Love.”
George Street Playhouse Announces 2022-2023 Season


(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- New Jersey’s George Street Playhouse has announced three exciting and thought-provoking plays, and two dazzling musical theatre events to take place at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. The five-play season includes Her Portmanteau, Joy, Clyde's, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!, and Tales From the Guttenberg Bible starring none other than Steve Guttenberg himself.

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Ever been to summer camp, or wish you’d had the chance? Then it’s time to pack up the whole family and head to David J.V. Meenan’s newest hysterical musical comedy, Camp A New Musical, which is having its Off-Broadway premiere at Theatre Row in New York for a limited engagement August 4-21. Featuring a cast of 23, the musical will transport you upstate to New York’s Camp Goody Goody, summer retreat for children of the elite run by fading socialite, Madame Tres Faux.
Vivid Stage presents Summer Solos on Wednesday Nights in July


(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage presents Summer Solos readings on Wednesdays from July 6-27 at 6:30pm at the Visual Arts Center of NJ at 68 Elm Street in Summit. In its ninth year, the series provides audiences with an opportunity for entertainment at an affordable price, while also introducing them to highly personal works performed by professional actors.  Performances in the series will take place on the lawn of the Arts Center. Patrons are invited to bring chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner. The rain location for all performances is the Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ.

Thundermother to Support Scorpions at Borgata Show


(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Sweden’s all-female heavy rock band Thundermother will open for the Scorpions on September 5 at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Showtime is 8:00pm. The band is touring in support of their album "Black and Gold " which comes out August 19, 2022.
The Clearwater Festival Returns to Live Performances


(RED BANK, NJ) -- After two years of remote, online festivals, New Jersey’s oldest festival celebrating music, the environment and more, is bringing the annual gathering to the beautiful Riverside Gardens Park on the banks of the Navesink River, in Downtown Red Bank. The Clearwater Festival will run from 11:00am to 7:00pm Saturday and 11:00am to 5:00pm Sunday on the weekend of August 6th and 7th.

Inside NJPAC's 2022-23 Dance Line-up


(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) has announced its upcoming 2022-23 season of dance including several anniversary celebrations and world premieres. The fall season begins with two shows melding dance and jazz music: famed Newark-born tap artist and dancemaker Savion Glover collaborates with jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater (November 12)  followed by new works by New Jersey-based Carolyn Dorfman Dance featuring a live performance by renowned jazz violinist Regina Carter (November 16).

Raven’s Room The Art Exhibit takes place July 23rd


(TRENTON, NJ) -- Raven’s Room The Art Exhibit will be held on Saturday, July, 23rd at Vintage Dope Thrift (1027 S Clinton Avenue) in Trenton. This art exhibit is free entry and entails a collection of paintings, drawings, and multimedia collages inspired by life experiences, emotional release, intuition, and abstracted dreams. Over the past year, George has explored various mediums and styles. Raven’s Room draws inspiration from her actual living space. Not only is it the bedroom of which she sleeps but, cries, heals, laughs, dances, prays, and hours spent making art. This is the invitation into the deepest parts of who she is.

BergenPAC To Put Tickets On Sale Friday For David Caserta and Andrew Dice Clay


(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) has announced two new shows as part of their fall 2022 performance season. Master illusionist David Caserta will amaze young audiences with mind-blowing magic and laugh-out-loud comedy in his “Haunted Illusions” Halloween spectacular on Sunday, October 30 at 3:00pm. The legendary rockstar comedian, Andrew Dice Clay, performs his brand of outrageous and controversial comedy on Wednesday, November 9 at 8:00pm.
