(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Remember Jones has announced the launch of the first annual Summer Slay! Festival, presented by Remember Jones at The Stone Pony on Saturday, July 9th. This event will mark a yearly birthday celebration for Remember Jones and the official release date for his new original album, HAHA, BITCH!
This show will showcase Jones’ “won’t U be my hater? TOUR” that continues to tour around the country in 2022, featuring new versions of his old favorites, brand new original songs, and his signature song styling on other popular tunes. On the lineup for this first festival will be Quincy Mumford’s Lifted Laboratory, a long time friend and collaborator of Remember Jones and the first time they will share a bill with their full bands! Other acts for the festival include Tor Miller, Zoe Sparks, and Levy Okun, all with their full bands.
The event will be hosted by and featuring performances from drag queens Jolina Jasmine (Miss Paradise 2016 & 2021), Tastie, and Morrigan von Haunt (hosts of popular drag nights at Georgies Bar in Asbury Park). Throughout the evening will be giveaways and special, audience participating drag makeovers and more. Local Asbury Park establishments Larry Cadillac and Mutiny BBQ will help promote the event with special menu items at their locations and will be involved with integrated segments throughout the show.
