MPAC presents The Electric Light Orchestra Experience featuring Evil Woman - The American ELO

originally published: 04/27/2022

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) presents The Electric Light Orchestra Experience featuring Evil Woman – The American ELO on Friday, May 20th at 8:00pm. Enjoy the music of Electric Light Orchestra and hits such as "Telephone Line," "Evil Woman," "Turn to Stone" and "Mr. Blue Sky," in this tribute performed by acclaimed session musicians who recreate the classic ELO sound.

EVIL WOMAN is widely recognized as America's premier tribute to The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) due to their brilliant arrangements, flawless musicianship, superlative vocals and premium engagements at the leading PAC's and Casinos throughout the US.

Picking up where the Beatles left off in 1970, ELO expanded the concept of great melodies, epic song structures and grand orchestrations where cellos coexisted with guitars, and where classically tinged progressive rock intersected with hook-filled, radio-friendly pop songs including 'Evil Woman', 'Mr. Blue Sky', 'Telephone Line', 'Livin' Thing', 'Don't Bring Me Down', resulting in ELO becoming one of the most popular groups of the 1970's and perhaps even more so today, as the UK-based Jeff Lynne's ELO only performs in arenas.

Tickets range from $29 - $59 and are available for purchase online.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is located at 100 South Street in Morristown, New Jersey.  MPAC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey.
