(FLANDERS, NJ) -- JamFam Productions has announced The Watkins Glen Revival 2022 will be held in Flanders, NJ and Kempton, PA. The scheduled artists for both include Northeast's premier tribute bands: The THE BAND Band, This Old Engine and The Peach Project - who will be performing the music of The Band, The Grateful Dead & The Allman Brothers Band.
Often called the “Forgotten Woodstock,” the 1973 Watkins Glen festival had only three bands perform: The Grateful Dead, The Band, and the Allman Brothers Band. The original Watkins Glen festival in July of 1973 had over 600K guests in attendance - it's in the Guinness book of world records and was bigger than Woodstock!
JamFam Productions has announced TWO one-day, all-day music festivals in New Jersey & Pennsylvania. The first music festival will be held at the Flanders Swim & Sports Club (SSC) in Flanders, New Jersey on May 21, 2022, with an expected attendance of 1,000 guests. The following festival will be held on August 20, 2022, at the Kempton Fairgrounds in Kempton, Pennsylvania with attendance capacity of 3000 guests. Tickets will vary in price per event and will range from $10 to $50 per ticket. Tickets for both shows are currently on sale via Eventbrite to the general public at https://bit.ly/WATKINS22
Most recently, JamFam Productions partnered and produced several drive-In concerts held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey in 2020 and 2021 during the darkest days of Covid that included nationally touring artists such as: Dark Star Orchestra, Railroad Earth, The Disco Biscuits and Twiddle. Both upcoming Watkins Glen Revivals will utilize the same large-scale festival-style staging and production that was used for the drive-in concerts in ’20 and ‘21.
“Our goal is to give our artists, attendees and staff the safest place to experience top-tier musicians playing live music. JamFam Productions’ concerts will also feature a ‘Leave No Footprint’ commitment to eco-conscious partying and music with an aim to protect the beautiful and lush landscape and environment. We are asking all guests leave nothing behind and to leave your area as clean as when you arrived” as explained Founder and Producer, Michael Kestin.
