"Co-Founders" - a hip hop musical to be presented at Joe's Pub on Saturday


(NEW YORK, NY) --  TheatreC & Rhyme Combinator announced today the complete cast for CO-FOUNDERS, a new hip hop musical about the two most unlikely partners in Silicon Valley, that will have a one-night-only concert on Saturday, April 9th at 7:00pm at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street).
Pegasus Theatre Company Moves To Bordentown


(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- Professional theatre company, Pegasus Theatre Company, will make its Bordentown City debut this fall, offering a full season of productions starting in October 2022 and a summer camp starting as early as August of 2022.

NJPAC and NJ PBS to tape American Songbook at NJPAC shows April 21-22


(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and NJ PBS have announced a star-studded line-up for the return of the award-winning American Songbook at NJPAC series. The performances for this, the fifth season of the series, will be taped on the Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Stage at NJPAC’s Victoria Theater on Thursday, April 21, 2022 and Friday, April 22, 2022, in front of a live audience, for broadcast on NJ PBS later this Spring.

Atlantic Highlands Arts Council to host screening of "The Lost Leonardo"


(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- The Lost Leonardo is the inside story behind the “Salvator Mundi,” the most expensive painting ever sold at $450 million. In this powerfully dramatized Sony Pictures Classics film, you'll find out how the story unfolds! Atlantic Highlands Arts Council (AHArts) will host a film screening on Saturday, April 23rd at 4:00pm at the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council Gallery as a fundraiser for FilmOneFest, the international film festival based in Atlantic Highlands.

Carlos Villa: Worlds In Collision, explores cultures through paint, bones, bodies, and feathers


On view through May 8, 2022 at Newark Museum of Art, Carlos Villa: Worlds In Collision presents 35 rarely seen works by Carlos Villa, a central figure in the San Francisco art community and a leader in the multicultural activism of the 1960s and beyond. Along with the exhibit and programs, the Museum has launched The Filipino Oral History Project with Rutgers University and welcome the community to share their histories.

Princeton Makes features Lynn Levin and Sandy Solomon in Second Sunday Poetry Reading


​​​​​​​(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will celebrate National Poetry Month and host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, April 10 at 4:00pm.  The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center.  The reading will feature Lynn Levin and Sandy Solomon. Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.

ArtsBergen Calls Upon the Arts Community to Rally for 5% for the Arts in Bergen County


(BERGEN COUNTY, NJ) -- The local arts community and supporters of the arts are asked to rally for five percent for the arts in Bergen County., New Jersey.  Join the Northern New Jersey Community Foundation's ArtsBergen, ArtPride New Jersey and a myriad of arts organizations, artists and creatives to advocate a 5% allocation of Bergen County’s $261 million American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding for the arts.
NJDA Reinventing its Approach for Supporting Organic Agriculture in NJ


When one door closes, another is opened: Organic and regenerative farmers throughout New Jersey are eagerly anticipating a much-needed increase in support from the New Jersey Department of Agriculture as it transitions from its Organic Certification Program in May 2022 to a new direction. The NJDA became the state’s sole Accredited Certification Agency (ACA) in 2007 after the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA NJ) had performed the duties in cooperation with the Department since 2003.
Wayne's 175th Anniversary Picnic Set for Saturday


(WAYNE, NJ) -- The County of Passaic, in conjunction with the Township of Wayne, will be offering a picnic on the grounds of Dey Mansion Washington's Headquarters on Saturday, April 9th from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. The picnic will launch a series of events and virtual content in celebration of Wayne's 175th birthday. Other events throughout the year include: ‘Ultimate WayneQuest', in partnership with TAPInto Wayne, on May 14th, Bach to Rock will celebrate Wayne 175th on May 22nd, and Family AG Days will return from June through October. Virtual content will include weekly "Wayne Wednesdays" on Facebook and Instagram, online lectures, and a digital community scrapbook.

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College will host author and strategist Glenn Llopis, Wednesday, April 6 at 6:00pm. The event, which will feature a book discussion and panel session, is free of charge and open to the public. It will be held in the Event Center at the College’s Branchburg campus.
