
(LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- On March 27th, The Strand Center for the Arts will express solidarity for the Ukrainian people with the Voices For Ukraine Fundraising Benefit. From 12:00pm to 6:00pm, they will have live performances from artists including Lakewood Polish School "Maki", Yunist - Ukrainian Dance Group, Podhalanie Dance, The Portuguese Dance Group, Christina Yavdoshnyak, The Killer Joe Band, The Eddie Testa Band, The Wag and more. Tickets are $20 with unlimited all-day access to the show. All ticket proceeds will go directly to Ukraine Relief organizations.
Featured performing artists include Lakewood Polish School "Maki"; Yunist - Ukrainian Dance Group; Podhalanie Dance; The Portuguese Dance Group; Christina Yavdoshnyak; The Killer Joe Band; The Eddie Testa Band; The Wag; Rock N Roll Chorus; Howell Pal Theatre Company; Ballyhaunis; JT Bowen; Red House 5; Indigo Sky; Artist Collective Troupe; Pipes and Drums of the Jersey Shore; Father Walderma Latkowski; and Reverend Volodymyr Popyk.
Tickets are $20.00 and available for purchase online. Entry fee with unlimited, all-day access to the show. Concessions, bar and rood trucks available throughout the day. Event memorabilia will be sold. All ticket proceeds to benefit the following organizations: Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (C.Ss.R.), Province of Lviv, Ukraine; Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund; and Agudath Israel of America.

Health & Safety Guidelines: The Strand has continued to monitor local, county and state COVID-19 metrics and guidelines with the goal of reducing risk and maintaining the health and well-being of our audiences, artists and staff. We are pleased to announce proof of vaccination, or a negative test will no longer be required at the Strand Theater effective Monday, March 7th, 2022. Masks will no longer be mandatory but are STRONGLY recommended. Please understand that many staff and volunteers may continue to remain masked, as will patrons. We ask that you respect the choices of others no matter their decision. We, here at The Strand, will continue to monitor recommendations from the State of New Jersey, the CDC, and local boards of health and will adjust our COVID policy, as necessary.
