(NEW HOPE, PA) --- New Hope Arts (NHA) presents their annual Spring Salon on March 12 and will continue through May 1, 2022. This year’s Spring Salon exhibition is the largest for NHA yet and will feature the original artworks from over 150 professional member participants throughout the Region, hung in the French Salon style tradition.
Executive Director Carol Cruickshanks states, “Thanks to the ranks of exhibitors, our gallery will swell to over 150 participants, making this exhibition our largest and most exciting display of regional and affordable art. The Spring Salon showcases the diversity, expertise, and wide-ranging interests of our professional membership.”
The NHA’s Spring Salon exhibition is an annual rite of the season that will include new exhibitors and well-known artists where patrons can discover innovative techniques primarily in painting, printmaking, sculpture, and fiber arts.
The growth of NHA’s annual Spring Salon this year complements the institution’s ongoing celebration of its twentieth anniversary, marking the remarkable history of NHA.
New Hope Arts is located at 2 Stockton Ave., New Hope, PA. To see a complete list of participating artists, visit their website.
New Hope Arts (NHA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to furthering New Hope's heritage as a thriving nucleus for various mediums of art and artists. NHA serves an integral role in showcasing contemporary artists' work within New Hope and Lambertville and throughout the Region. New Hope Arts supports artists by fostering opportunities, providing space to create, collaborate, and present while offering residents and visitors access to a vibrant array of visual, performing, and literary arts.
NHA further provides a welcoming forum to emerging artists who would otherwise not have access to a professional exhibition setting while introducing new audiences to their work. Annually, NHA organizes up to eight significant exhibitions, including sculpture, wood, painting, photography, fine artisan crafts, and new media installations. It is individual donors, Board Members and foundations, and community members who provide the support necessary to offer such programs and events. Recognition of NHA's service to the arts includes funding from The PNC Foundation Arts Alive program, the Community and Economic Development Grant from the State of PA, and The Bucks County Visitors Bureau. With custodian and Executive Director Carol Cruickshanks in place and at the helm, all this keeps once founder Robin Larsen's vision alive, ever-evolving, and ever-elevating since her NHA conception in 2002.
